Partnerships

Partnerships are vital to combating human trafficking. The Office fosters co-operation across sectors and countries to boost impact, avoid duplication and share best practices, ensuring initiatives are strategic, co-ordinated and effective at both regional and global levels.

United against human trafficking

Traffickers operate in networks, and so must we. This is why the 2013 Addendum to the OSCE Action Plancalls for co-operation at all levels, ensuring any initiative has a multiplier effect across the entire partnership network. The Office expanded its framework from the traditional ‘3 Ps’—prevention, prosecution and protection—to include a crucial fourth: partnerships, because no single organization, government or sector can tackle the crime of human trafficking on its own. Through cross-border and cross-sectoral co-operation, the OSCE builds powerful networks with national, international, private sector and civil society partners. This collaborative framework encompasses National Anti-Trafficking Co-ordinators and Rapporteurs, the Alliance Expert Co-ordination Team, and the UN Inter-Agency Coordination Group, fostering co-ordinated action and facilitating the exchange of expertise and best practices.
